our mission

Audi’s Board of Management signed a Diversity & Inclusion manifesto in 2023, committing to equity in leadership, supplier diversity, and internal culture. The company hosts ‘We.Together: International D&I Days’—offering 72 virtual sessions in seven languages while joining the European LGBTIQ Chamber of Commerce and WEConnect to ensure inclusive procurement practices. Audi integrates D&I into HR processes through equitable hiring, gender-inclusive language, mentoring, and flexible job-sharing. The “Diversity & Inclusion: milestones” page reflects their ongoing journey to progress.

Who we are

Audi is a global premium automobile manufacturer based in Ingolstadt, Germany, and a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. With a legacy of engineering excellence and avant-garde design, Audi produces luxury vehicles under the ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ (Advancement through Technology) philosophy. Audi’s model portfolio spans from efficient combustion engines to plug-in hybrids and fully electric vehicles like the e-tron series. Audi is reimagining mobility through autonomous driving research, digitalization, and high-tech mobility ecosystems, making innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity its core pillars.

Sustainability

Audi is committed to becoming a net carbon-neutral company by 2050. As part of the Volkswagen Group’s broader climate strategy, Audi has integrated environmental standards into every step of its value chain—from sourcing raw materials to recycling batteries. The company operates carbon-neutral production facilities in Brussels and Győr and plans to manufacture only electric vehicles from 2026 onward. It has invested in circularity through aluminum recycling, battery second-life programs, and green logistics, while aligning with the Science Based Targets initiative.

Corporate culture at Audi

Shared values form the basis of the Audi corporate culture. They characterize the way we work together and thus create a unique Audi Team spirit that manifests itself in solidarity, in our leadership culture and in our social commitment.

Practiced corporate culture

Most people know what Audi stands for and what qualities an Audi vehicle has. But the company is more than just its product. Audi is more than 80,000 people worldwide who dedicate themselves to providing sustainable and individual mobility for the future and who share the goal of delivering the best of the best for customers and stakeholders. More than 80,000 people who work together and stick together – as they did during the various social and economic challenges in recent years.

People and culture at the heart of our strategy

Whether it’s production, research and development, marketing or procurement – in a culture where employees feel safe, accepted and heard, teams are more successful and develop more creative solutions and more innovative ideas.
